2019 Pickle Bowl - updates
Player check-in: Registration table opens at 8:00 am. Please check in by 8:30. Play starts at 9:00 am. Please sign player waivers when checking in.
T shirts are in and I’m told they look very nice. They will be available on the day of the event at check-in.
Match Play starts at 9:00 am. Match format will be best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2. If a game 3 is needed, teams will switch sides at 6. Players call all lines and foot faults. One time out per team per game. All time outs will be 1 minute.
There will be a total of 17 matches counting toward GA-FL points and approximate starting times are listed below. Starting times are estimates for women and mixed teams. If the mens' matches finish early, the women's matches will start earlier. Same is true for the mixed.

Balls being used: Onyx Fuse 1 balls will be used for 2.5 and 3.0 levels. Franklin X40 balls will be used for 3.5 levels and above.
Cost of the tournament: $10 per player. Local ambassadors will collect money ahead of time. If you haven’t had the opportunity to give me the tournament fee and we don’t see each other this week, please see me in Kingsland the morning of the tournament.
Spectator Etiquette: Please minimize distractions to the players. Mute cell phones and keep your voices low. Do not make any line calls or provide any coaching to the players. This includes during timeouts.
Picnic: Starts after the 4.5 exhibition game. RSVP was10/16/2019. Camden County Pickleball will be providing meats as well as plates, napkins and silverware. Players and spectators are requested to bring a dish to share as well as your own drinks and chairs.
Water will be available for the players during the matches.
An awards ceremony will follow lunch as well as open play so make sure to bring your gear.
